Sharing stories,
making peace with imperfection,
embracing grace.

I love thinking about all of life as one big story comprised of endless little stories.

Can you imagine the size of that book?

I love telling stories, too (but if you’ve spent much time here, you already knew that).

Here are a few reasons why.

I think by listening to each others’ stories, we encourage and spur each other on.

I think by listening to each others’ stories, we learn compassion and empathy.

I think by listening to each others’ stories, we discover common ground and build community.

And I think by listening to each others’ stories, we get glimpses of where that bigger story is headed.

So here, I’ll share mine as bravely and honestly as I can. (I want to hear yours, too.)

Yes, it might be rough. The words won’t be perfect. (Notice the name of this blog.) I might ramble a bit. But my hope is that this will be a place of encouragement and grace, where you might find the comfort of a “Me too,” and where we can grow together.

I’m glad you’re here! Be sure to check back for new posts, or just sign up for my email list and I’ll send them straight to you!

for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness!
